Bio: Ivanhoe loves annoying his mom (Dumplin') with all his crazy antics. He enjoys having play time with the other dogs(especially his dad, Taser) and loves wrestling until his heart is content. He is a very smart dog; by the time he was 10 weeks old, he was potty trained, and if he had an accident would use it on the newspapers. Very loving fellow, but if he wants to play, no one better stop him or he'll pout.
After I lost my first male Sheltie, Sheffey,I knew I wanted another Sheltie; just not right then. After almost 2 years of waiting for the hole in my heart to heal a little bit, I finally felt ready for another one. This little boy captured my heart and it just so happens he's a full grandson to Sheffey. 2 months prior to Sheffey's death, a beautiful little girl was born who would carry on his line. My mom named her Dumplin' and decided to keep her. Anyone who has watched the movie "Sheffey" knows the famous line about Dumplings on there, so it was fitting. Fast forward a couple years later, and Dumplin' had her first litter of puppies, and Ivanhoe was one of them. Brother Sheffey(the great evangelist) was born in Ivanhoe, VA. It only seemed like an appropriate tribute to Sheffey and Drumplin' to name him Ivanhoe. I was blessed to watch to watch him from a tiny baby growing up, and I'm so glad I got to. If Sheffey taught me nothing else, he taught me that every minute spent is priceless.
