Katniss passed away in 2022 from a tragic accident. I have tried so many times to figure out why her? She was only 9 years old and still had so much life left and it breaks my heart it was cut short. She always wanted to be under foot, rolling over for a belly rub or begging for attention. As long as she was with Gemma, she was happy and content. Gemma meant the world to her and the two were best buds for her entire life.
